The Little Bookshop logo has a handwritten appearance to reflect its personal and authentic values. The monogram and stacked variations of the wordmark allow the identity to be applied flexibly across media.

Colour

The Little Bookshop’s colour scheme uses soft and playful tones to reflect the high-spirited and enriching nature of the brand. White is used generously to reflect their Scandinavian inspirations.

Website design

Buttercrumble designed and built a website for The Little Bookshop. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic we transitioned the original portfolio website (Squarespace) to Shopify to safeguard the future of the business and boost remote sales.

This has enabled The Little Bookshop to have a fully integrated e-commerce system where they can:

  • Sell on social media

  • Assign inventory to locations

  • Offer gift cards and discount codes

  • Analyse customer data
