Navigating a classic novel, The Great Gatsby
The brief
This was a personally initiated project. The aim was to create a piece of information design that helps readers visualise the setting of The Great Gatsby.
The Great Gatsby is a classic novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Within the story, there is a mix of factual and fictional places in New York. This was visualised this as a map. An unusual purple and green colour scheme was chosen to produce a more abstract and striking illustration. Purple also signifies the glamour and wealth of the tale.
