An identity for a beautiful bookstore

The brief

Buttercrumble created new visual identity for The Book Corner to help the company reach their goal to become a truly recognisable place for the book lovers around Leeds, Manchester and beyond.

"The Book Corner is an independent and contemporary bookshop, selling a wide range of hand picked fiction and non-fiction titles, with friendly and knowledgeable staff on hand to advise. With a dedicated children's section, the team have created a unique space for the whole family to browse their favourite books".

The logo is based on The Book Corner’s shop‐front and beautiful architecture at The Piece Hall.

The structure of the design process was very helpful to refine my ideas. Buttercrumble were very helpful and enthusiastic. I felt very involved in the design process all the way through
