How to encourage participation

Buttercrumble supported UK Coaching with their #GreatCoaching campaign. The aim of the campaign is to celebrate the transformative power of coaching and explore how #GreatCoaching can build happier and healthier communities.

We created a series of Great Coaching stories to show the vast way coaching can be part of our lives. UK Coaches works with Olympic winners to community champions and we illustrated these stories.

Live illustration: #GreatCoaching stories

Buttercrumble illustrated at the UK Coaching conference at Loughborough University in 2019. The team used their iPads to document the key research insights and conversations and this was streamed live onto screens around the venue. It created an engaging spectacle and the team also shared illustrations on social media to boost engagement with online audiences.

At the event, Buttercrumble invited guests to be part of the #GreatCoaching campaign, using their worksheets. Visitors could work with Buttercrumble to narrate and illustrate their own stories which will become part of the wider campaign.

Celebrating success

Internal communications can be as important as external. To complement the Great Coaching campaign, Buttercrumble visualised the team achievements from 2018. This helped to create an instant impression of the organisation's evaluation.
