Celebrating Our Partnership with UEA
The team at Buttercrumble are proud to celebrate our new partnership with the University of East Anglia (UEA) and our recent appointment to their Creative Services Framework. We’re a preferred supplier for internal staff teams and researchers for illustration, creative strategy, storyboarding and artworking.
Visiting campus
To kick off our partnership, we’ve already had a few projects on the go and our Academic Community Manager, Dr Alex, visited the UEA campus in Norwich a few weeks ago for their ‘Meet the Commissioners’ event (pictured above). It was attended by over a dozen other framework suppliers and a few dozen staff members. Dr Alex met staff members in different schools and departments, as well as colleagues from across the Admissions, Recruitment and Marketing team, to showcase Buttercrumble’s work and share our story and how we partner with researchers and marketing teams to share their work, support their public engagement activities and help with accessibility design and translate their research for wider audiences.
Off to a running start
We’re also excited to celebrate a couple of recent projects we’ve done with UEA design partners. Firstly, we’re proud to support the Events Team with the artworking and design of their What’s On brochure, highlighting events on campus and for the UEA community three times a year. These A5 brochures get a lot of visibility across campus as they’re shared at many UEA venues.
Earlier this month, we also supported researchers from UEA’s Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research in partnership with Natural England. We supported their public workshop in Bakewell to help identify, surface and articulate what nature in the Peak District Dales means to locals through different conceptual lenses. We also aided the researchers and participants in capturing their values around nature, their reflections on the past, present, and future of the Dales, and in envisioning what the future of the Dales looks like to them.
